Born To Lead provides a unique inside look into the forty year coaching legacy of UCONN Huskies Basketball coach: Jim Calhoun. It exposes a much broader view to Jim’s larger than life personality and balanced life, where he combines a “will to win and relentless quest for perfection,” balanced with a tough love and commitment to his players, his friends, family, and charities. The film combines exclusive interviews, photographs, and historic sports footage unveiling not only Coach Calhoun’s vulnerability but his “extended family,” which fans and followers have yet to see or understand: an epic of underdog determination, human compassion and a 3 time NCAA basketball champion.
